The Labour Day in India is celebrated on the 1st of May every year. It was first observed in 1891 by the labour movement in New Zealand.
The labour day essay 200 words is an essay about the Labour Day in India. It provides a brief overview of the history of Labour Day and its significance in India.
Labor Day, as we all know, India is the world’s second biggest nation and, in comparison to other countries, it is a very inexpensive labor country. Laboring in India is much less expensive than in that other nation, which is why people attempt to locate an Indian worker for them since it will be less expensive than the servants they have in their own countries.
There are numerous holidays celebrated in India, such as Teachers’ Day, Mother’s Day, Sister’s Day, and so on, but we often overlook the fact that the most essential person who does every single and little task in our home, workplace, or neighborhood is a laborer. We forget about the hard effort that went into such labors in order to enjoy a peaceful existence.
So that we do not forget the hard work of each and every laborer, this day is commemorated for their joy, and it is also commemorated in the form of festivities at many factories and places where the number of laborers is excessive.
Every first of May, Labor Day is commemorated as a day dedicated only to the hardworking laborers who make our daily lives possible. We don’t even recognize the amount of effort they put in for us, and we don’t give them credit for it.
Let’s take a look at a few different kinds of labels that we see on a regular basis. Do you believe that when you witness a structure being buried and people carrying stones on their heads and going through it, that this is labor work? Actually, you are correct; this is a labor job; however, you are incorrect in assuming that they are the only workers in India.
Every working profession you see is a laborer performing his or her job in an office. Labor job does not need you to carry stones on your head or walk for extended periods of time. It also refers to working in an office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and often even longer, so we can’t claim that just the poor are considered laborers in India; even the wealthy who make a lakh rupees per month are considered laborers.
Nowadays, whatever job we have, we can pay someone to do it for us. For example, if we want to make food, we can employ anybody who can do it for us, and that person is none other than those who fall under the category of labor.
Every working environment is granted a holiday on Labour Day in honor of its workers who work as laborers in their company. It is not anything to be ashamed of or to feel terrible about; it is a category into which every human being falls at least once in his life.
